How To Make Ringtone For iPhone


Most of the mobiles supports .mp3 file as a ringtone. But Apple's iPhone can not support .mp3 as a ringtone. It supports .m4r file as a ringtone.
So if you would like to make your favorite song as your iPhone ringtone, you don't need to buy any software for it. You can make ringtone from iTunes.

You just follow simple 5-6 steps to make any song as your iPhone ringtone.If you don't have iTunes than first of all download iTunes.Than apply the following steps to make ringtone.

> First of all add a song to music library of your iTunes.
> Once a song is added to music library than do right click on the song and click on the Get info as shown in below image.

> After clicking on Get info you can see a window comes out having menus "summary", "info", "option" etc. Go to option menu and select the start time and end time for ringtone as the below image shown.

> Click on the OK button after selecting start time and end time for ringtone. After that go to music library of iTunes and right click on the song and do click on "Create AAC version". It will create a file having your selected time for ringtone in the same music library.

> Once you create that file than right click on the AAC file in music library and click on "show in window explorer" as in the below image.

> Now you can see the ringtone in window explorer but having ".m4a" format. You just need to right click on that file and rename the extension from ".m4a" to ".m4r". If you can not change extension than enable it from folder option.

>After changing the extension to ".m4r" double click that file so it will be automatically added to the Ringtone library of your iTunes as shown in below image.

> Now u just need to sync your iPhone to Ringtone library of your iTunes. You can find the ringtone in Settings > Sounds > Ringtone in your iPhone.
